Next QEP and Master QEP judging session

Next QEP and Master QEP sessions will be held in Brussels, Belgium, November 26-27, 2011.QEP
QEP candidates must present a panel of 12 prints, mounted in light cardboard. The short side of the mounting board must be not less than 40 cm and the longest side must not exceed 50 cm.Master QEP (M-QEP)
This is a higher qualification award reserved for QEP holders. QEP Master candidates must present a panel of 20 prints in any size. They may if they wish show supporting evidence (e.g. CDs, videos, books, publications). All QEP photographers may receive a letter of invitation to enter the next Master QEP session. To apply for a QEP or a Master QEP Certificate, candidates must fill in the application forms, and send it to the FEP and to their own FEP member national association.The application form must be sent via e-mail to secretariat@europeanphotographers.eu at the latest by April 30th for the May judging session or by October 31st for the November/December session.
Some associations arrange a preliminary national selection meeting for their QEP and M-QEP candidates. This procedure is strongly welcomed by FEP. Please check with your association, then fill the application forms.
Panels have to arrive in the Brussels FEP office the day before the judging at the latest.
The submission fees must be paid before the panels are judged.
The FEP Secretariat will not put forward for judging any panels unless the following procedures have been adhered to, neither will these panels be returned to their authors, if:
- the images submitted do not conform to these rules
- the submission fee has not been paid
- the membership of the candidates has not been confirmed by the relevant association.
QEP and Master QEP Fees
To cover the cost of the judging sessions, a submission fee is required. From the first 2010 session, the fees will rise respectively to EUR 150,00 (QEP) and EUR 250,00 (M-QEP).Shipping of Prints
Panels have to arrive in the Brussels FEP office the day before the judging at the latest.Transportation of the panels to the Brussels office and back is the responsibility of the candidate or of his/her relevant national association. If panels are sent by courier they must be sent as documents and marked "No Commercial Value".

Return of prints
To cover the costs of return transportation of your works to the address indicated on the application form an additional bank transfer for EUR 60.00 is required. Do not complete this part of the application if you do not require your prints to be returned.In this case, FEP will ask the national association of the candidate to cover these costs and once the payment has been received , the prints will be sent to the national headquarters of the relevant association.
